Attention! This is not a workshop, but a speculative shop. It will be ongoing during the entirety of SLSA Alien conference. It will be located in B115 - AME FabLab. The hours of operation will be shared. The first opening times are Thursday 26th from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
The Exchangeable Identity Shop is a speculative service that allows you to escape from yourself for one day. Once you get to the Shop, you will be asked to share with the attendant an aspect of your identity you wish to get rid of, forget about, or share. This aspect will be transformed into a box that will be available for others to grab and experience. You will then be able to select someone else’s box-identity for you to experience as well.
Get ready: bring with you an object/tool that would help someone to experience the identity aspect you are ready to share. (Size max: 10 x 15 x 4 cm / 3 x 5 x 1 inch)
The Exchangeable Identity Shop is itinerant and on its 3rd edition.
